Submittals / Resubmittals (Revisions)

ConstructFlow will automatically generate Resubmittals, based on the Project settings. A revision number will automatically get assigned to the new Resubmittal and you will be able to initiate it from your Submittal Dashboard. Starting a Resubmittal is similar to initiating a new one. The most notable difference is responding to comments.

When you click on the "Start" button of the Resubmittal, you'll notice there are comments that require your attention. ConstructFlow uses this commenting system to track elements of Submittals that require further information before closing them out. This is useful in a Packaged Submittal that may have multiple Spec Section entries, for example. Rather than the entire Submittal being sent back, only the elements that require attention are carried over to the generated Resubmittal.

Address each comment by clicking "Respond". Each comment must be addressed separately. Do NOT respond to multiple comments with a single response. Doing so will not allow the Submittal to be closed and in turn will result in the generation of another Resubmittal. The submittal will not be closed out until every comment receives a code that does not trigger a Resubmittal (such as "Approved", or "Approved As Noted").
