Review Groups / Overview

There are two types of Review Groups:

  1. Submitters
  2. Reviewers
Submitters
Companies in this group are the ones who begin Submittals and RFIs for review. For example:
  • You are a Construction Management company and your Contractor is submitting information for your review, the Contractor would be the Submitter.
The access for Submitters are more restrictive and limited. They can submit items to be reviewed, but they cannot engage in the review process once said item is sent. They receive a final version of a Submittal or RFI when the review is complete.

Reviewers
Companies in the Reviewers group engage in comments and approvals of Submittals and RFIs. You add multiple companies inside of a Review group. For example:
  • After your Contractor submits an RFI, it goes to a group called "Design Team". Inside the Design Team group, you may have three different companies with their own users and permissions.
You can set the permission of a Reviewing group to do some of the following:
  • Allowed to Reject
    • Can reject back to the Submitters
  • Allowed to Finalize
    • Can finalize an item back to the Submitters
  • Allowed to send backwards
    • Can send items backwards in the flow to other Review Groups
  • Allowed to skip other Review Groups
    • Can skip other Review Groups when moving forward in the flow
