RFIs / Create New RFIs
There are two ways to add an RFI:
- Begin & Submit a new RFI
- Add a Placeholder to submit later
You can add a Placeholder RFI if you need to reserve a number that correlates with an internal numbering system. This feature is only available for RFIs. Submittals are numbered by the system automatically and cannot be altered.
You can Void RFIs that have been added as Placeholders. The numbers will still be reserved for that voided RFI Placeholder.
Begin & Submit a new RFI
When you create a new RFI, the system will automatically assign the next sequential number. This cannot be altered. Click on the "Begin New RFI" button from the RFI Dashboard
Fill out the form on the following page. Depending on the settings for the Project, you may be required to upload files.
Once you have filled out the information required on the form, click the "Submit New RFI" button and the system will automatically take care of the rest. You will be taken back to the RFI Dashboard where you can see the progress of your new RFI
